Kingston Country Courtyard has always been a place for people to gather. Set within a historic Purbeck stone courtyard in the heart of Dorset, our story is one of gradual evolution — carefully balancing heritage, hospitality and the surrounding countryside that makes this part of the world so special.
Since taking over the business in 2019, we’ve worked to thoughtfully shape Kingston into more than simply a place to stay. Today, alongside our bedrooms and restaurant, the courtyard has become home to weddings, retreats, celebrations, corporate gatherings and experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways.
As an independent family-run business, we care deeply about creating a relaxed and genuine experience for guests. Whether that means locally sourced food, welcoming dogs after a coastal walk, supporting community projects, improving accessibility or protecting the wildlife around our ponds and woodland, we believe the smallest details often matter most.
